Welcome to the National Bike Hire Network, we are a new network of independent bike hire outlets that arranges bike hire for your holiday or where you live through our advanced website bookings system . While we usually need a few days' notice, we will try and accommodate last minute booking requests where possible - again through the website or by phone.
We're all being encouraged to get out in the fresh air and leave the car behind and cycling is the perfect way to do that for all the family. Plus if you’re going on holiday in the UK it isn’t easy to fit a family, luggage AND bikes in a car or on a train.
If you want to try cycling for the first time in years, you don’t want to spend loads of money buying bikes before you know which type will suit you best.
The National Bike Hire Network makes finding and pre-booking bikes for the whole family quick and easy.
To hire bikes through us, you just need to provide the postcode of where you're staying or where you live and we do the rest. All bookings will come with a helmet for each bike, a lock and a puncture repair kit.
All our network members offer leisure bikes to suit all the family. The bikes are all quality brands, well maintained and serviced and are designed for easy enjoyable cycling. Additional products such as child seats & trailers, plus cycle racks if you wish to explore further afield are also available.
On a lovely summer’s day, what better family activity is there than to get on a bike and explore our wonderful countryside, forests, costal paths, cycleways and cities?
Tourist information offices and websites have an abundance of information on cycleways and family safe routes which are often traffic free. For the more adventurous we have many cycle network members in cities such as London where you can collect a bike for a day’s hire and see the city in a different light – for example follow an architectural or historic tour by bike!
In the future we will be offering bikes for commuters and charity riders with schemes that include 'try before you buy' and upgrade options. Our website will have downloadable cycle routes, customer posted routes, links to cycling related websites and photo competitions showing why you enjoy cycling.
